MNI is proud to offer comprehensive microwave radio training courses as part of our world-class services. The objective of the MNI Customer Training Courses is to provide instruction in system operation and maintenance practices. The primary emphasis is on alignment, routine testing, and troubleshooting of the equipment. In addition, general microwave radio theory classes are available.

The main MNI training facility in Stafford, Texas is equipped with fully functional links of our standard radio products, as well as older "legacy" equipment. Instruction is oriented to the craftsperson and supervisor directly involved in the operation and maintenance of the equipment. The level of instruction is based on the assumption that students attending the training facility will have a basic knowledge of microwave and multiplex systems.

The basic training course content covers documentation, test procedures, system equipment, and practical hands-on experience, with individual attention to each student. In addition, students have extensive use of the instruction manuals which includes drawings, factory test records and supplemental documentation. The course includes informal discussion periods and opportunity for students to discuss the specific equipment types and configurations he or she will work with. Training is provided in both English or Spanish.

As an added service, MNI will also provide training at a customer determined location. These field classes have the same course content as the in-house classes with special emphasis on the customer’s particular system configuration. The course outline will also be the same. Field classes typically use the customer’s equipment for the hands-on training portion of the class.
